My Expertise

Although I cover most of the traditional professions, I now specialise in defending claims against financial advisers who have been operating systemic misselling.

My role within DWF is to develop clientele in the areas of financial services misselling and surveyors’ claims whilst assisting younger members of DWF to gain expertise.

Key areas of expertise include financial services systemic misselling.  I am also one of the few lawyers to have experienced the over-valuation claims made against valuers in the 1990s and in more recent times. With an established team, I feel well placed to advise quickly and efficiently in these areas, and at the same time, involve myself in key corporate events, such as an annual financial services seminar, where speakers have included famous MPs, presenters and journalists.

I am qualified as a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Chambers and Partners, 2012, listed me as "an excellent, thoroughly trusted lawyer". In 2013 it noted that I am "shrewd" and "commercial" in my approach and that I am particularly strong on financial matters.

Legal 500, 2011, recognised me for my “technical abilities and skill at decoding the most complicated cases” and in 2013 recognised me as a leading individual in the field of professional negligence.

I am a member of DWF's Diversity Steering Group.
