I have acted for onshore and offshore investment clients, buying and selling in the region of £750m of assets for clients. I recently acted for Salford Capital Limited Partnership, a partnership based off-shore in connection with the acquisition of Salford City Shopping Centre in Salford.
Along with my team, we act for most main banks including Lloyds Banking Group, Royal Bank of Scotland Plc, Yorkshire Bank, Anglo Irish Bank, Co-Op Bank, Santander, Unity Bank, and Nationwide Building Society and advise on all aspects of property finance work including acquisition finance, development finance, refinancing and lending into specific structures such as structures based around the Business Premises Renovation Allowance.
Through this I lead a team and recently advised a lender in connection with the provision of facilities to acquire a number of shopping centres, namely Broadway Shopping Centre, Plymouth, Castledene Shopping Centre, Peterlee and Union Gate Shopping Centre in Bristol. I was subsequently asked by the purchaser of the shopping centres to act on all on going instructions in connection with these.
I provide clear, commercial advice on all aspects of purchases, including the negotiation of occupational leases and all other ancillary documents in order to maximise the investment value of the asset, as well as the sale of that asset.
