I act for a number of the firms’ key clients and I am viewed as a trusted adviser and a key member of my clients’ teams. I am able to cut through legal jargon for my clients to ensure that they receive the right level of detail in terms of advice, whether it’s a complex new development or major letting.
I am increasingly involved in advising on sustainability issues, particularly the impending restrictions on lettings of energy inefficient buildings which will impact on every single player in the real estate industry. I also deal with renewable energy projects, including solar farms and roof top leases. I am therefore able to give clients support in new and interesting areas that are becoming increasingly important in the real estate industry as a whole.
I am DWF’s relationship manager for Peel Holdings (whom I advise on investment and development projects as well as providing support to the utilities division), Gladman Developments and the Port of Mostyn. I am currently acting for KPMG in the relocation of their Manchester office.
Clients describe me as "very commercial and direct – she challenges your thinking and is extremely pragmatic."
I am ranked as a leader in my field in Chambers and Partners 2014 and Legal 500 stated that I am described as "an excellent and pragmatic lawyer with outstanding people skills."
