I regularly represent clients in tribunal and perform the advocacy. I advise on TUPE transactions including business transfers, outsourcing and insourcing. I guide and support the HR team through the consultation process and negotiating warranties and indemnities. I frequently assist clients with enforcing restrictive covenants against former employees.
Additionally I draft and review service agreements, employment contracts, employment policies and settlement agreements. I advise clients on strategic HR issues such as complex disciplinary and grievance matters, large-scale changes and harmonisation of terms and conditions of employment and redundancy situations. I also assist and support clients with Union issues such as pay negotiations, disputes and recognition issues.
I regularly speak on a range of employment issues at internal and external events and also deliver bespoke training to clients on topical subjects..
