I am experienced in a wide range of tax matters, including the sale and purchase of companies, businesses and properties; joint ventures; group restructuring and reorganisations; the structuring of corporate and property deals, including real estate funds; and the tax aspects of PPP and PFI.
My work involves providing clear, direct advice and commercially-focused solutions in relation to tax across all corporate and real estate matters including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and partnerships, group restructuring, property development, property investment and the structuring of property funds.
Chambers & Partners (2014) recognised me as an expert in this area and said “clients appreciate that [Jon] is ‘very proactive and understands [their] requirements fully’, and ‘[they] have a good relationship’”.
Two years previously, the same directory said “Jon Stevens is a leading individual for tax law. He has great commercial sense, is technically excellent and has the ability to get things done”.
In 2013 I was named as one of the Tax Journal’s‘40 under 40 tax practitioners for 2013’.
