I specialise in property transactions and have a detailed understanding of the housing sector. I have worked closely with some of the largest registered providers in the UK as well as for local authorities and commercial developers.
In all cases I have provided clear, direct advice on a wide range of social housing activities such as property development, shared ownership and residential site set up, large scale stock rationalisation, disposals consents and general affordable housing property law. I am a key relationship manager to a number of the firm’s major registered provider clients.

Examples of my experience include:
- Acting for the some of the UK’s largest housing associations in connection with their extensive development and property management programmes (including acquisitions at turn key and golden brick stage, option agreements, grant funding, nominations rights and infrastructure agreements).
- Acting for some of the UK’s largest housing associations in connection with the property aspects of their refinancing exercises, including leading teams in relation to the preparation and agreeing of certificates of title.
- Acting for some of the UK’s largest housing associations in connection with their disposal of stock (both tenanted and untenanted surplus stock as well as new build shared ownership site set up, including extra care).
