I act for a wide range of professionals and their professional indemnity insurers in defence of claims against architects, engineers, surveyors, insurance brokers, accountants, solicitors, financial advisors, and property management agents.
During my career I have gained strong experience in high value commercial litigation disputes. I have acted on behalf of the largest sporting association in Ireland, the Irish Trustee in bankruptcy, a large public house operator, chain retailers and property developers in a wide range of breach of contract, insolvency, property related (including landlord and tenant), intellectual property and defamation disputes. I also specialise in all aspects of liquor licensing law.
I have represented clients in the High Court, Commercial Court and Supreme Court as well as in alternative dispute resolution forums including mediation.
I have lectured for the Law Society of Ireland and Dublin Solicitors Bar Association in insolvency law.
I have also presented on the subject of new legislation relating to the adjudication and enforcement of construction disputes and am a member of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).
