I have been ranked in Chambers and Partners as a notable practitioner in the field of personal injury.
I have advised 8 of the 32 London local authorities in the defence of employer’s liability and public liability claims. As well as defending claims brought against NHS Trusts, I have advised local authority departments as diverse as social services, highways, housing, schools and refuse/recycling in the defence of personal injury claims.
I have experience in dealing with catastrophic injury claims, including brain injuries, para and tetraplegia cases and fatal accidents. I have dealt with disease claims including hand/arm vibration syndrome, noise induced hearing loss, dermatitis and latex allergies, work-related stress and bullying and harassment claims. Another area of my expertise includes work place injuries including assault, manual handling, work-related upper limb disorder and slips and trips.
I advise insurers, Lloyd’s Syndicates and loss adjusters on the defence of complex personal injury claims. I have advised a Lloyd’s Syndicate which underwrites risks associated with claims for injury and breach of contract arising during package holidays.
